Weather stripping can not only keep out the moisture, wind, and hot or cold air, but is also effective in blocking the entry of dust and noise, resulting in a cleaner and quieter home. Usually weather stripping for doors and windows may be purchased by the foot or in handy kits complete with the seal and fasteners for a single door or window. There are wide varieties of weather strips that are available in the markets these days and each of them stands for different purposes, quality and price. The list may include bronze weather strip, vinyl v-seal weather strip, sponge rubber, neoprene-coated strip, air conditioner weather strip, vinyl weather strip, aluminum and felt strip, felt weather strip and self-adhesive foam tapes.
