Making home-improvement changes for your bathroom means that proper lighting should never be overlooked. Sufficient lighting for your bathroom is a must when it comes to grooming convenience, safety, and all-around comfort.

Most often, an elegant ceiling fixture along with two smaller mini lights installed on both sides of your main mirror does the trick perfectly. And for those of you who enjoy taking your reading with you, consider having a light built-in directly above the toilet and the bath tub.

Do you have a large bathroom that is big enough to hold a vanity table and a chair? In addition to installing personalize cabinets, larger sized bathrooms can have a stylish vanity set which can display pretty perfume bottles, powders, and your mirror accessories.

This table could also hold small drawers which come in handy to store items such as grooming supplies and other miscellaneous bathroom accessories which you would prefer to have hidden away.

Shelving Units

And do not forget the option of installing storage shelves in your bathroom. They can be freestanding shelving units that are built into the walls. Bathroom shelves can also be created with a towel holder connected underneath. This is perfect if you want to assign each member of the household a specific shelf which holds their assigned towel. Be sure to consider the children when installing your shelving units and have lower standing units which can be removed as the kids grow older.
