A very important part of the kitchen garden can be the spice plants or creepers. Spices like peppers, basil, chillies, coriander etc are some of the most important and the most used spices. The creepers also add to the aesthetic beauty of the backyard. Even lemon bush can be a part of the backyard kitchen garden. The reason why kitchen garden is a good option for the backyard is because it controls the spread of unwanted weeds and shrubs.

There is a unique pleasure in eating the fruits and vegetables produced from the kitchen garden. It is a great way to literally enjoy the fruits of own hard work. Hence, a kitchen garden in the backyard is definitely an option to go for.
